Program Description:
Welcome to Ardena Baptist Church’s free after-school program for elementary school age children (K-5th grades). This program is held on Thursday afternoons, from 3:30pm -6:00pm (when Howell Township schools are in session) in the education and gym buildings here on the Ardena Baptist Church campus.
Our community-based children’s program provides kids with a safe, comfortable, fun and encouragement filled opportunity to enjoy each other, and the program’s many activities. The children will be supervised by (and enjoy working with😊) our screened, caring and nurturing adult and teen volunteers.
The program schedule looks like this:
3:30 pm “Arrival”
3:30 – 4:00 “Chill & Chat” (a time to arrive, have a snack, listen to music, socialize and “hang out”)
4:00 – 4:45 “Homework & Learning Support” (homework assistance, guidance and encouragement)
4:45 – 5:00 “Kids Corner” (brief kid themed devotional to help with life’s growing pains)
5:00 – 6:00 “Recreation” (stations featuring the gym, board games, and a “Maker” area to create!)
6:00 pm “Dismissal” (kids may be picked up earlier, if needed)
